Staff rate Axiom as a Top 100 Best employer
STAFF at a Peterborough housing association are celebrating after the organisation gained a place in The Sunday Times’ Top 100 Best Not For Profit Organisations to Work For list, for a third time.
Axiom Housing Association entered the employer competition last autumn as part of an all-staff survey conducted by engagement specialists, Best Companies. A total of 266 employees took part resulting in an 62 per cent response rate.
The results were revealed at the national awards dinner recently held in London. Employees knew beforehand that they had received a one star accreditation, which is rated as “very good” by Best Companies, but had to wait until the event to find out they were ranked at number 66.
The results are based solely on employees’ responses to a series of questions under eight engagement factors covering everything from their relationship with the company’s brand through to their wellbeing and happiness with pay and benefits.
Axiom’s Chief Executive, Alan Lewin, said: “I am absolutely delighted with the results and our third successful ranking in this prestigious list.
“This award rightfully recognises our commitment to the wellbeing of our employees. We aim to build on this success and will work with colleagues to make Axiom an even better place to work in the future.”
The Best Companies lists are compiled based on research from the largest survey of its kind and published in The Sunday Times every year in March. Successful organisations like Axiom, can be viewed via a dedicated website thesundaytimes.co.uk/best100companies.
